Privacy Policy for Targetfall
Effective date: August 15, 2026
Targetfall (“the app”, “the game”) is developed and published by Playing Odds Games (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and what choices you have.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not operate any server of our own. The app has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login that we control.
Information the app handles
Information stored only on your device
Targetfall saves the following to your device’s private app storage. It never leaves your device, and we cannot see it:
- Your top ten scores and the three-letter initials you choose to attach to them
- Your personal best score
- Your settings: music volume, sound effects volume, vibration on/off, and aim sensitivity
You can erase all of it at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.
Google Play Games Services
Targetfall uses Google Play Games Services to provide a global leaderboard. If you choose to sign in:
- Google provides the app with your Play Games player identity and public display name
- Your score is submitted to the Targetfall leaderboard, where other players can see your display name and score
- The app reads leaderboard standings so it can show you the global top five and your own rank
Signing in is optional. If you decline, the game remains fully playable and your scores are kept only on your device.
Play Games Services is operated by Google, and information handled through it is governed by Google’s own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Advertising
Targetfall displays a banner advertisement supplied by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google’s advertising SDK may collect and process:
- Your device’s advertising identifier
- Device and network information such as device model, operating system version, and general region
- Ad interaction data, such as whether an ad was shown or tapped
We do not receive your advertising identifier, and we do not build any profile of you. Ad delivery and any personalisation are handled entirely by Google.
Google’s advertising practices are described here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
The app requests that only ads rated suitable for a general audience (PG or lower) be served.
Consent
Where required by law — including the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — the app presents Google’s consent form the first time it runs, and your choice determines whether you are shown personalised or non-personalised advertising. You can be shown this choice again by clearing the app’s data.
Feedback you send us
The About & Support screen can open your email app with a pre-filled message to us. If you choose to send it, the message includes the app’s build number and your device model so we can reproduce the problem. Nothing is sent unless you press send in your own email app. We use what you send only to answer you and to fix the issue.
Permissions
Targetfall requests internet access. It is used for exactly two things: loading advertisements, and communicating with Google Play Games Services if you have signed in.
The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, files, or precise location.
Children
Targetfall is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will address it.
Data retention
We hold no personal data ourselves, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Information held on your device is removed when you clear the app’s data or uninstall it. Data held by Google through Play Games Services and AdMob is retained under Google’s policies, and you can manage much of it through your Google account settings.
Your choices
- Advertising identifier — Android settings let you reset it or opt out of personalised advertising entirely
- Play Games — signing in is optional, and you can disconnect the game from your Play Games account in the Play Games app
- Local data — clearing the app’s data erases every score and setting stored on your device
- Consent — clearing the app’s data causes the consent choice to be presented again
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the effective date at the top and publish the revised version at this address. Significant changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
